The Playground in Kolding is a recreational park area for children and adults. There is a load of activities to get through! If you wish to explore the towns culture, relax and be with the family, then you should of course also visit the Playground – especially if you are staying at Zleep Hotel Kolding, which is neighbouring the park. It’s less than 100 meters to the activity packed park.
The center of the Playground has an artificial lake of 5,000 square meters. You can explore the lake from April to October in one of the 12 rowing boats or 6 paddleboats. They are free to use for the entire family! In the winter, when it freezes over you can skate on the lake.
There is a vast amount of playground equipment; play sets, slides, sandbox, swings and seesaws. In addition, there is a pedal car track where you can race in the karts; a miniature golf course with nine holes (clubs and golf balls can be picked up at the staff center); and two open areas for pétanque.
Plan your visit
…or don’t. You actually don’t have to plan too much as the Playground is located less than 100 meters from Zleep Hotel Kolding. The park is open year round, but you just need to be aware that some of the activities may have limited opening hours. Check the activities’ opening hours at the Playground.
By the Playground there are three activity houses, each of which can accommodate up to 50 people. Here you can dine under shelter and make use of the free gas grills that are available.
